The Enterprise Continuous Improvement Specialist is a subject matter expert in their area that provides consultation to Internal stakeholders as a strategic partner and is responsible for conducting continuous improvement efforts focused on optimizing business processes and improving overall performance within the Global Technology Organization. This role will use a variety of tools and skills to identify, analyze and implement continuous improvement opportunities that will help drive organizational agility and increase overall efficiency.  Consult and collaborate with stakeholders to enable delivery of business results through process changes and performance management strategies. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consults and acts as a resource to management and key stakeholders on identified process improvements that impact efficiency, organizational capabilities and/or return on investment.
Your day to day
  • Identifies and consults on complex problems and process improvements of a diverse cross functional scope to influence process efficiency.
  • Able to successfully interface with all levels and areas of the organization, establish close working relationships and build consensus and support for improvement opportunities.
  • Leads the streamlining of processes and/or change improvements of operational business practices via analysis and interpretation of current policy, procedure and business needs.
  • Demonstrate systematic investigational skills that include ability to understand and analyze complex technology processes and develop continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Perform root cause analysis for problems and process improvements of a diverse cross functional scope.
  • Ability to quantify impact of service performance failures to process metrics and financials
  • Designs future state operating models that address opportunities uncovered during current state analysis
  • Consults and advises stakeholders on methods to achieve customer objectives, business needs and processes / workflows.
  • Consults with stakeholders on business implications of recommended process design or improvements.
  • Advises on process implementations in cooperation with key stakeholders to ensure successful rollout, delivery and sustainability to ensure benefits realization.
  • Advises stakeholders and partners on the identification, tracking and reporting of key outcomes and measurement of process efficiency
  • Manage process improvement implementation, escalations, cost and scope
  • Utilize change management techniques to ensure the improvements are sustained.
  • Ability to comprehend new technology strengths and weaknesses in order to effectively match technology to possible business solutions
  • Able to express information through resilient verbal and written communications
  • Skilled in the use of Minitab and Microsoft suites of office products, specifically Visio
  • Actively participates in industry groups to stay abreast of trends and best practices, with the ability to translate them into recommended methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

 

What we need from you

EducationBachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

ExperienceTypically a minimum of 6+ years of progressive work related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines, technologies, or processes related to the position.

Technical Skills and Knowledge 

  • Ideal candidates will hold or be in the process of obtaining a certification in a process improvement discipline (e.g. Lean Six Sigma certification, Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP), Certified Business Process Improvement/Reengineering Practitioner (BPR), etc.).
  • Analytical thinking/quantitative, reconciliation, planning, organizational and time management skills to include summarizing information and clearly identifying key elements, patterns, results or relationships.
  • Experience in the application of statistical methods, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis and related analytical tools.
  • Expert knowledge of process mapping/modeling and business process reengineering.
  • Expert systematic investigational skills – include gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources.
  • Understanding of implications of business requirements on the application(s) with the ability to advise stakeholders and key business partners.
  • Expert awareness and knowledge of market trends, business strategies and technology and their interrelationships.
  • Experience advising stakeholders in business process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to display expert verbal and written communication skills with different levels within the organization.
  • Proven experience in working effectively with diverse internal and external contacts.
  • The ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
