Your day to day

Join our team as Executive Chef in Regent. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Reporting to General  Manager, the Executive Chef will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations for the Resort. We’re looking for someone who:

 

What we need from you

• A culinary mentor who oversees a detailed luxury approach large scale operations.

• He/she has strength in chefs network, whether building the opening team or

visiting guest chefs.

• Enjoys mentoring and developing chef talents – training is a way of building strong teams and retaining talents.

• A driver of consistency, quality, revenue and profitability.

• He/she has a background in luxury hotels/resorts, understanding the intricacies of personalized guest journeys

• Would have early background learning under Michelin star chefs, therefore understanding the detailed work behind finding the right chef and setting up The Studio / Oku.

• A perfectionist whilst seasoned communicator, ensuring bringing kitchen

team or larger resort departments along the way.

• Passion for products, driven to explore local – has experience within South East Asia and its abundance of high quality produce.

•    An innovator who thinks outside kitchen boundaries.

• Understands and explores the synergy between teams whether kitchen or service, luxury travelers needs, locale and creative arts to optimize Regent Taste Gallery experiences.

• Excited to work in Vietnam and Regent leading Regent Taste Gallery.

• Reports to General Manager.
