Your day to day
We are currently looking for experienced & passionate Director of Marketing & Communications to join our Team. Reporting to Director of Sales & Marketing, this challenging role has overall responsibility to develop and implement PR & Communications strategies to maintain the hotel positioning and image as a 5 star property. In addition to setting the CSR strategy for the hotel, connecting with the local community and maintaining strong relations with media.Main responsibilities includes promoting the hotel and its services to the public audience in accordance to the brand guidelines of InterContinental Abu Dhabi; planning and setting the PR & Communications and advertising plan of the hotel using different communication channels available to engage with the public including e-commerce and social media channels and leading & developing the PR Executive and Digital Marketing Executive by training and coaching according the set guidelines of the hotel.
What we need from you
The ideal candidate must be motivated, focused leader with a proven track record in leadership with at least 3 years hotel experience in similar position. Someone with a high ability to influence, sound business acumen and understands the competitive market. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Relations or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience with at least 4 to 5 years progressive work-related experience in the hotel industry is essential. A passion for delivering superior results. Preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of results achieved, creativity and the implementation of new practices.
