IHGANA is the leading hotel operator in Japan with 33 hotels operating under four brands: InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, ANA Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and ANA Hotels.
With over 1,800 hotels in the current IHG global pipeline to open over the next few years we are seeking expressions of interest for General Manager roles across the IHG ANA Japan portfolio.
Our General Manager's direct the overall operation of their hotel to maximize performance, profitability and return on investment. By creating a positive and productive work environment, you'll ensure superior guest experience and compliance with quality, service and operational standards. You'll report directly to a Regional General Manager or Director of Operations and supervise the Hotel Executive Committee Members and Department Heads.
To be a General Manager within IHG you'll ideally have a Bachelor's degree in Hotel or Hospitality Management or equivalent, with 4-6 or more years experience leading a hotel team as General Manager or possibly Hotel/Resident Manager in a large complex operation, combined with an exceptional customer service focus.
Ultimately, you have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, very good skills for written and oral communication in both English and Japanese plus a desire and the ability to travel and work in different countries.
